Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>TACACS+.
Step 3 ExpandTACACS+ Provider Groups.
Step 4 Right-clickthe TACACS+ provider group you want to delete and choose Delete.
Step 5 Ifthe CiscoUCS Manager GUI displaysa confirmation dialog box, clickYes.
Authentication Domains
Authenticationdomains are usedby CiscoUCS Managerto leveragemultiple authentication systems. Each
authenticationdomain is specifiedand configuredduring login. Ifno authenticationdomain is specified,the
defaultauthentication service configurationis used.
Youcan create up to eight authentication domains. Each authentication domain is associated with a provider
groupand realmin CiscoUCS Manager. If noprovider groupis specified,all servers within the realmare
used.
Creating an Authentication Domain

Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>Authentication.
Step 3 Right-clickAuthentication Domains and choose Create a Domain.
Step 4 Inthe Create a Domain dialog box, complete the following fields:
DescriptionName
Thename of thedomain.
Thisname can be between 1 and 16 alphanumeric characters. You
cannotuse spaces or any special characters other than - (hyphen), _
(underscore),: (colon), and . (period), and you cannot change this name
afterthe object has beensaved.
Forsystems using RADIUSas theirpreferred authentication
protocol,the authenticationdomain name isconsidered part
ofthe user nameand counts toward the 32 characterlimit for
locallycreated user names. BecauseCisco UCS inserts 5
charactersfor formatting,authentication will fail ifthe
combinedtotal of the domain name plus the user name is more
than27 characters.
