Creating One or More Service Profiles from a Service Profile Template

Procedure

Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Servers tab.

Step 2 Onthe Servers tab, expand Servers >Service Profile Templates.

Step 3 Expandthe node for theorganization that contains the service profile template that you want to use as the

basisfor yourservice profiles.

Ifthe system does not includemultitenancy, expand the root node.

Step 4 Right-clickthe service profile template from which you want to create the profiles and select Create Service

ProfilesFrom Template.

Step 5 Inthe Create Service Profiles From Template dialog box, complete the following fields:

DescriptionName

Theprefix to use for thetemplate name. When the system creates the

serviceprofile, it appendsa uniquenumeric identifier to thisprefix.

Enterbetween 1 and 29 alphanumeric characters. You cannot use spaces

orany special characters other than - (hyphen), _ (underscore), : (colon),

and. (period).

Forexample, if youspecify the prefixMyProfile and request two

profiles,the first service profile would be called MyProfile1 and the

secondwould be MyProfile2. If you return at a later date and create

threemore profiles with the same prefix, they would be named

MyProfile3,MyProfile4, and MyProfile5.

NamingPrefix field

Thenumber ofservice profiles to create.

Entera number between 1 and 255.

Step 6 ClickOK.
