Oncea fabric port channel is created, links can be added or removed by changing the link group preference
andreacknowledging the chassis, or by enabling or disabling the chassis from the port channel.
Thelink grouping preference only takes effect if both sides of the links between an IOM or FEX and the
fabricinterconnect support fabric port channels. If one sideof thelinks does notsupport fabric port
channels,this preference is ignored and the links are not grouped in a portchannel.

Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Equipment tab.
Step 2 Onthe Equipment tab, click the Equipment node.
Step 3 Inthe Work pane, click the Policies tab.
Step 4 Clickthe Global Policiessubtab.
Step 5 Inthe Chassis DiscoveryPolicy area, complete the followingfields:
DescriptionName
Specifiesthe minimum threshold for the number of links between the
chassisand the fabric interconnect. This can be one of the following:
1-link
2-link
4-link
8-link
PlatformMax
Actionfield
Specifieswhether the links from the IOMs to the fabric interconnects
aregrouped in a port channel. This can be one of the following:
None—Nolinks are grouped in aport channel
PortChannel—All links from an IOM to a fabric interconnect
aregrouped in aport channel
Thelink grouping preference only takes effect if both sides of
thelinks between an IOM or FEXand the fabric interconnect
supportfabric port channels.If oneside of thelinks doesnot
supportfabric port channels, this preference is ignored and the
