Passwordfield

Foreach box thatis checked, then the system creates a SEL backup

whenthat event is encountered:

•LogFull—The log reachesthe maximum size allowed.

•OnChange of Association—Theassociation between a server

andits serviceprofile changes.

•OnClear—The user manuallyclears a system eventlog.

•Timer—Thetime interval specified in the Backup Interval

drop-downlist is reached.

Managing the System Event Log for a Server

Copying One or More Entries in the System Event Log

Thistask assumes that you are viewing the system event log for a server from the SEL Logs tab for a server

ora chassis.

Procedure

Step 1 AfterCisco UCS Manager GUI displays the system event log in the SEL Logs tab, use your mouse to highlight

theentry or entries that you want to copy fromthe system event log.

Step 2 ClickCopy to copy the highlighted text to the clipboard.

Step 3 Pastethe highlighted text into a text editor or otherdocument.
