Step 4 Choosethe service profile that requires the UUID for the associated server to be reset to a different UUID
suffixpool.
Step 5 Inthe Work pane, click the General tab.
Step 6 Inthe Actions area, clickReset UUID.
Ifthis action is not visible, then the UUID configuration in the service profile does not meet the requirements
forresetting a UUID.
Step 7 Ifthe CiscoUCS Manager GUI displaysa confirmationdialog box, click Yes.
Step 8 ClickOK
Modifying the Boot Order in a Service Profile
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Servers tab.
Step 2 Onthe Servers tab, expand Servers >Service Profiles.
Step 3 Expandthe node for the organization that includes the service profile for which you want to change the boot
order.
Ifthe system does not includemulti-tenancy, expand the root node.
Step 4 Clickthe service profile for which you want to change the boot order.
Step 5 Inthe Work pane, click the Boot Order tab.
Step 6 ClickModify Boot Policyto change the existing boot policy.
Step 7 Inthe Modify BootPolicy dialog box, choose one of the following from the Boot Policy drop-down list:

Assignsthe default boot policy to this service profile.
Continuewith Step 14.
SelectBoot Policy to use
Enablesyou to create a local boot policy that can only be accessed by this
serviceprofile.
Continuewith Step 8.
Createa Specific Boot Policy
Assignsan existing boot policy to the service profile. If you choose this
option,Cisco UCS Manager displays the detailsof the policy.
Ifyou do not want use any of the existing policies, but instead want to create
apolicy that all service profiles can access, click Create Boot Policy and
continuewith Step 2. Otherwise,continue with Step 14.

Step 8 Ifyou chose to create a boot policy, in the Create Boot Policy dialog box, enter a unique name and description
forthe policy.
