Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe SAN tab.
Step 2 Inthe SAN tab, click the SAN node.
Step 3 Inthe Work pane, click the VSANs tab.
Step 4 Clickone of the following subtabs, depending upon what type of VSAN you want to delete:
DescriptionSubtab
Displaysall VSANs in theCisco UCS domain.
All
Displaysthe VSANs that are accessible to both fabric interconnects.
DualMode
Displaysthe VSANs that are accessible to only fabric interconnect A.
SwitchA
Displaysthe VSANs that are accessible to only fabric interconnect B.
SwitchB
Step 5 Inthe table,click the VSAN youwant todelete.
Youcan use the Shift key or Ctrl key to select multiple entries.
Step 6 Right-clickthe highlighted VSANor VSANsand chooseDelete.
Step 7 Ifthe CiscoUCS Manager GUI displaysa confirmation dialog box, clickYes.
Changing the VLAN ID for the FCoE VLAN for a Storage VSANFCoEVLANs in the SAN cloudand VLANs in theLAN cloud must have different IDs. Using the same
IDfor an FCoEVLAN in a VSAN and a VLAN results in a critical fault and traffic disruption for all
vNICsand uplink ports using that FCoE VLAN. Ethernet traffic is dropped on any VLAN which has an
IDthat overlapswith an FCoE VLAN ID.

Step 2 Onthe SAN tab, expand SAN >Storage Cloud >VSANs.
Step 3 Choosethe VSAN for whichyou wantto modifythe FCoE VLAN ID.
Step 4 Inthe Work pane, click the General tab.
Step 5 Inthe FCoE VLAN field,enter the desired VLAN ID.
•Afteran upgrade to Cisco UCS, release 2.0: The FCoE storage port native VLAN uses VLAN 4048 by
default.If the default FCoE VSAN wasset to use VLAN 1 beforethe upgrade, you must change it toa
VLANID that is not used or reserved. For example, consider changing the default to 4049 if that VLAN
IDis not in use.
