Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >Communication Management >CallHome.
Step 3 Inthe Work pane, click the Policies tab.
Step 4 Onthe icon bar tothe right of thetable, click +.
Ifthe +icon isdisabled, click an entryin thetable to enable it.
Step 5 Inthe Create Call Home Policy dialog box, complete the following fields:
DescriptionName
Ifthis fieldis Enabled, the system uses thispolicy when anerror
matchingthe associated cause is encountered. Otherwise, the system
ignoresthis policyeven if amatching error occurs.By default,all
policiesare enabled.
Statefield
Theevent that triggers the alert. Each policy defines whether an alert
issent for onetype ofevent.
Causefield
Step 6 ClickOK.
Step 7 RepeatSteps 6 and 7 if you want to configure a Call Home policy for a different type of fault or event.
Disabling a Call Home PolicyProcedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >Communication Management >CallHome.
Step 3 Inthe Work pane, click the Policies tab.
Step 4 Clickthe policy that you want todisable and choose ShowNavigator.
Step 5 Inthe State field, clickDisabled.
Step 6 ClickOK.
