Usesthe UUID assigned to the server by the
manufacturer.
Ifyou choosethis option, the UUID remains
unassigneduntil the serviceprofile is
associatedwith a server.At that point, the
UUIDis set to the UUID value assigned to
theserver by the manufacturer. If the service
profileis later moved to a different server, the
UUIDis changedto match the newserver.

Eachpool name is followedby two numbers
inparentheses that show the number of UUIDs

ofUUIDs inthe pool.

Step 8 (Optional) Ifyou selectedthe XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX option, do the
following:
a) In the UUID field, enter the valid UUID that you want to assign to the server which uses this service
profile.
b) To verify that the selected UUID is available, click the herelink.
Step 9 ClickOK.
Changing the UUID in a Service Profile Template
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Servers tab.
Step 2 Onthe Servers tab, expand Servers >Service Profile Templates.
Step 3 Expandthe node for the organization that contains the service profile template for which you want to change
theUUID.
Ifthe system does not includemultitenancy, expand the root node.
