Adding Privileges to a User Role
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>User Services.
Step 3 Expandthe Roles node.
Step 4 Choosethe role to which you wantto addprivileges.
Step 5 Inthe General tab, check the boxes for theprivileges you want to add tothe role.
Step 6 ClickSave Changes.
Removing Privileges from a User Role
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>User Services.
Step 3 Expandthe Roles node.
Step 4 Choosethe role from which you wantto removeprivileges.
Step 5 Inthe General tab, uncheck the boxes for theprivileges you want to remove from the role.
Step 6 ClickSave Changes.
Deleting a User Role
Whenyou delete a user role,Cisco UCS Manager removes that role from all user accountsto which the role
hasbeen assigned.
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>User Services.
Step 3 Expandthe Roles node.
Step 4 Right-clickthe role youwant todelete and chooseDelete.
Step 5 Inthe Delete dialog box,click Yes.
