Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >Communication Management >CallHome.
Step 3 Inthe Work pane, click the Profiles tab.
Step 4 Right-clickthe Cisco TAC-1profile and choose Recipient.
Step 5 Inthe Add EmailRecipients dialog box, do the following:
a) In the Email field, enter the email address to which Call Home alerts should be sent.
Forexample, enter callhome@cisco.com.
Afteryou save this email address, it can be deleted but it cannot be changed.
b) Click OK.
Configuring System Inventory Messages for Smart Call Home
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >Communication Management >CallHome.
Step 3 Inthe Work pane, click the System Inventory tab.
Step 4 Inthe Properties area, complete the following fields to specify how systeminventory messages will be sent
toSmart CallHome:
DescriptionName
Ifthis fieldis set to On,Cisco UCS sendsthe system inventory tothe
CallHome database. When the information is sent depends on the other
fieldsin this area.
SendPeriodically field
Thenumber ofdays thatshould passbetween automatic system
inventorydata collection.
Enteran integer between 1 and 30.
SendInterval field
Thehour thatthe data should be sentusing the24-hour clockformat.Hourof Day to Send field
Thenumber of minutes after the hour that the data should be sent.Minuteof Hour field
Thedate and timethe information was lastsent.
Thisfield is displayed after the first inventoryhas been
sent.
