Step 6 Onthe CiscoUCS Manager GUIlaunch page, selectExpress Setup.
Step 7 Onthe Express Setup page, select Initial Setup and click Submit.
Step 8 Inthe Cluster andFabric Setup Area,select the Standalone Mode option.
Step 9 Inthe System SetupArea, completethe following fields:

Thename assigned to theCisco UCS domain.
Ina standaloneconfiguration, the system adds"-A" to the
systemname. In acluster configuration, the system adds
"-A"to thefabric interconnect assigned to fabric A, and
"-B"to thefabric interconnect assigned to fabric B.
SystemName field
Thepassword used for theAdmin account on the fabric
interconnect.
Choosea strongpassword thatmeets the guidelines for
CiscoUCS Manager passwords. Thispassword cannot be
blank.
AdminPassword field
Thepassword used for theAdmin account on the fabric
interconnect.
ConfirmAdmin Password field
Thestatic IP address for the management port on the fabric
interconnect.
MgmtIP Address field
Thesubnet mask for the management port on the fabric
interconnect.
MgmtIP Netmask field
TheIP addressfor thedefault gateway assigned to the
managementport on thefabric interconnect.
DefaultGateway field
TheIP address for theDNS serverassigned to the fabric
interconnect.
DNSServer IP field
Thename of the domain in which the fabric interconnect
resides.
DomainName field
Step 10 Click Submit.
Apage displays the results of your setup operation.
