Step 9 Inthe Server Information area,complete the followingfields:
DescriptionName
TheIP address of thecomputer where the full state
backupfile is located. This can be a server, storage
array,local drive, or any read/write media that the
fabricinterconnect can accessthrough the network.
ServerIP
Thefile path where the fullstate backup file is
located,including the folder namesand filename.
BackupFile Path
Theusername the system should use to log in to the
remoteserver. This field does not apply if the protocol
isTFTP.
UserID
Thepassword forthe remoteserver username. This
fielddoes not applyif theprotocol is TFTP.
Password
Step 10 Click Submit.
Youcan return to the console to watch the progress of the system restore.
Thefabric interconnect logs in to the backup server, retrieves a copy of the specified full-state backup file,
andrestores the systemconfiguration.
Fora cluster configuration, you do not need to restore the secondary fabric interconnect. As soon as the
secondaryfabric interconnect reboots, Cisco UCS Manager sychronizes the configuration with the primary
fabricinterconnect.
