Youcan configure service profiles and service profile templates to use IP addresses from the management IP
pool.You cannot configure servers to use the management IP pool.
AllIP addresses in the management IP pool must be in the same subnet as the IP address of thefabric
interconnect.
Themanagement IP pool must not contain any IP addresses that have been assigned as static IP addresses
fora serveror serviceprofile.

Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Inthe Admin tab, expandAll >Communication Services.
Step 3 Right-clickManagement IP Pool (ext-mgmt) and selectCreate Block of IP Addresses.
Step 4 Inthe Create a Block of IP Addresses dialog box, complete the following fields:
DescriptionName
Thefirst IP addressin the block.Fromfield
Thenumber of IPaddresses in thepool.Sizefield
Thesubnet mask associated with the IP addresses in the block.
AllIP addresses in the management IP pool must be in the same subnet
asthe IP addressof the fabric interconnect.
SubnetMask field
Thedefault gateway associated with the IP addresses in the block.DefaultGateway field
Step 5 ClickOK.
