Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Equipment tab.
Step 2 Onthe Equipment tab, expand Equipment >Chassis >Chassis Number >Servers.
Step 3 Choosethe server for which you wantto viewthe POST results.
Step 4 Inthe Work pane, click the General tab.
Step 5 Inthe Actions area, clickView POST Results.
ThePOST Results dialog box lists the POST results for the server and itsadapters.
Step 6 (Optional) Click the link in the Affected Object column to viewthe properties of thatadapter.
Step 7 ClickOK to close the POST Results dialog box.
Issuing an NMI from a Blade ServerPerformthe following procedure if the system remains unresponsive and you need Cisco UCS Manager to
issuea Non MaskableInterrupt (NMI) to the BIOS or operatingsystem from the CIMC. This action creates
acore dump or stacktrace, depending on the operating system installed on the server.
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Equipment tab.
Step 2 Onthe Equipment tab, expand Equipment >Chassis >Chassis Number >Servers.
Step 3 Choosethe server that you want toissue the NMI.
Step 4 Inthe Work pane, click the General tab.
Step 5 Inthe Actions area, clickServer Maintenance.
Step 6 Inthe Maintenance dialog box, do the following:
a) Click Diagnostic Interrupt.
b) Click OK.
CiscoUCS Manager sends anNMI to the BIOS or operating system.
