•Ifthe Cisco UCS domain is running in Ethernet Switch
Mode.vNIC fabric failover is not supported in that
mode.If all Ethernet uplinks on one fabric interconnect
fail,the vNICs do notfail over to the other.
•ifyou planto associate this vNIC with a server that
hasan adapter which does not support fabric failover,
suchas the Cisco UCS 82598KR-CI 10-Gigabit
EthernetAdapter. If you do so, Cisco UCS Manager
generatesa configuration fault when you associate the
serviceprofile with the server.

Ifthe vNIC has an associated QoS policy, the MTU specified

MTUvalue in the QoS system class, packets may be dropped
duringdata transmission.
