• The vNIC or vHBA is assigned to a different pool.
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe SAN tab.
Step 2 Onthe SAN tab, expand SAN >Pools.
Step 3 Expandthe node for theorganization containing the pool.
Ifthe system does not includemultitenancy, expand the root node.
Step 4 Expandthe IQN Pools node.
Step 5 Choosethe IQN pool for which you want to delete a block of IQN suffixes.
Step 6 Inthe Work pane, click the IQN Blocks tab.
Step 7 Right-clickthe block to be deleted and select Delete.
Step 8 ClickYes to confirm the deletion.
Step 9 ClickSave Changes.
Deleting an IQN Pool
Ifyou deletea pool, Cisco UCS Manager does not reallocate any addresses from that pool that have been
assignedto vNICs orvHBAs. All assignedaddresses from a deleted pool remain with the vNICor vHBAto
whichthey are assigned until one of the following occurs:
• The associated service profiles are deleted.
• The vNIC or vHBA to which the address is assigned is deleted.
• The vNIC or vHBA is assigned to a different pool.

Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe SAN tab.
Step 2 Onthe SAN tab, expand SAN >Pools.
Step 3 Expandthe node for theorganization containing the pool.
Ifthe system does not includemultitenancy, expand the root node.
Step 4 Expandthe IQN Pools node.
Step 5 Right-clickthe pool you want to delete and select Delete.
Step 6 Ifthe CiscoUCS Manager GUI displaysa confirmation dialog box, clickYes.
