Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>User Services >Locally Authenticated Users.
Step 3 Clickthe user thatyou wantto disable.
Step 4 Inthe Work pane, click the General tab.
Step 5 Inthe Account Status field,click the inactiveradio button.
Theadmin useraccount is alwaysset to active.It cannot be modified.
Step 6 ClickSave Changes.

Clearing the Password History for a Locally Authenticated User

Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>User Services >Locally Authenticated Users.
Step 3 Clickthe user for whom you wantto clearthe password history.
Step 4 Inthe Actions area, clickClear Password History.
Step 5 Ifthe CiscoUCS Manager GUI displaysa confirmation dialog box, clickYes.

Deleting a Locally Authenticated User Account

Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Admin tab.
Step 2 Onthe Admin tab, expand All >User Management>User Services.
Step 3 Expandthe Locally Authenticated Users node.
Step 4 Right-clickthe user accountyou wantto deleteand choose Delete.
Step 5 Inthe Delete dialog box,click Yes.
Password Profile for Locally Authenticated Users
Thepassword profile contains the password history and password change interval properties for all locally
authenticatedusers of Cisco UCS Manager. You cannot specify a different password profile for each locally
authenticateduser.
