set ap radio antenna-location

Specifies the location (indoors or outdoors) of an external antenna. Use this command to ensure that the proper set of channels is available on the radio. In some cases, the set of valid channels for a radio differs depending on whether the antenna is located indoors or outdoors.

Syntax set {ap port-listap ap-num}antenna-location {indoors outdoors}

ap port-list

List of ports connected to the AP to rename.

ap ap-num

Number of a AP to rename.

indoors

Specifies that the external antenna is installed indoors (inside the

 

building).

outdoors

Specifies that the external antenna is installed outdoors.

Defaults The default antenna location is indoor. Access Enabled.

History Introduced in WSS Software 5.0. Option dap removed in 6.0.

Examples The following command sets the antenna location for radio 1 on AP 22 to outdoor:

WSS# set ap 22 radio 1 antenna-location outdoor

success: change accepted.
