This procedure covers remote provisioning of Carrier Access’ Access Bank® II (ABII) family of T1 CSU channel bank products, including the Access Bank II/SNMP and the Access Bank II/SDSL. The Access Navigator can provision voice and data services through a remote Access Bank II, which may include one or more of the following interfaces: Analog voice, RS-232, T1 Drop, SDSL, and V.35.

The Carrier Access remote configuration provisioning feature enables the operator to remotely provision voice and data services at any time, even before the Access Bank II is installed on the customer premises. When the Access Bank II is installed and powered up, the Access Navigator, when configured for Carrier Access FDL (cafdl) remote management, automatically senses the DS1 connection and downloads provisioning data over the FDL channel of the T1 line.
