Connect Fractional Interface to Remote Interface

NOTE: The connect remote command configures the DS0 crossconnections inside the Access Bank II, using the DS0s defined by the interface names. This produces crossconnections between the Access Navigator DS1 drop DS0s and the Access Bank II remote interface ports.

1.Remove old interface connection if connection must be changed with the following command: disconnect remote <"name">

Example: disconnect remote "AcmeT1drop"

2.Connect fractional interface to remote RS-232, SDSL, T1 Drop, or V.35 interface port with the following command:

connect remote <"name"> <rs232sdslt1dropv35>

Example:

connect remote "AcmeT1" t1drop

Download Configuration to Remote Access Bank II

NOTE: When downloading remote configuration settings, the status remote command will report “FDL tx in progress” during transmission and “FDL in service as CAC” when transmission is complete.

Turn on remote configuration to download changes with the following command:

set remote <n> config on

Example:

set remote 11 config on
