Example: set ds1 9 clock loop

Set DS1 FDL

Purpose: Selects the FDL protocol used on drop DS1s. Switch and groom DS1s do not use FDL. The Facility Data Link (FDL) channel is a 4 Kbps out-of-band communications link provided by the DS1 Extended Superframe (ESF) format.

NOTE: The factory default setting is “none”. This also turns off out-of-band loopback code detection and transmission over the FDL channel.
