Telcordia (Bellcore) Requirements

This equipment conforms with Telcordia® standard GR-1089-CORE, New Equipment Building System (NEBS), requirements for intra-building (inside plant) Type 2 and Type 4.

To maintain compliance with the GR-1089-CORE requirements to prevent EMI/EMC radio frequency interference with other equipment, the DSX-1 and RS-232 cables must be shielded and have ferrite bead RFI suppressors.

UL Requirements

This equipment conforms with Underwriters Laboratory standard UL 1950 (supersedes UL 1459). To maintain this compliance, all access covers must be replaced after servicing the equipment to prevent fires from spreading to nearby equipment.
