set snmp profile Configures an SNMP notification profile. A notification profile is a named list of all the notification types that can be generated by a switch, and for each notification type, the action to take (drop or send) when an event occurs.

You can configure up to 10 notification profiles.

Syntax — set snmp profile {default profile-name} {drop send} {notification-typeall}

„default profile-name— Name of the notification profile you are creating or modifying. The profile-namecan be up to 32 alphanumeric characters long, with no spaces.

To modify the default notification profile, specify default.

„drop send —Specifies the action that the SNMP engine takes with regard to the notifications you specify with notification-typeor all.

„notification-type— Any of the items in Table 35.
