mac address-table static <mac address> vlan <vlan id> interface

<interface>

Use the mac address-table static command to insert a static MAC address entry into the MAC address
table. Use the no form of this command to remove an entry from the table.
Syntax Description
<mac address> Specifies a valid 48-bit MAC address.
<vlan id> Specifies a valid VLAN interface ID (1 to 4094).
interface Specifies the interface. Type mac address-table static vlan interface ? for a
complete list of valid interfaces.
<interface> Specifies a valid slot/port interface ID (e.g., eth 0/1).
Default Values
By default, there are no static entries configured.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000, and 1000R Series units.

Usage Examples
The following example adds a static MAC address to Ethernet 0/1 on VLAN 4:
(config)#mac address-table static 00:A0:C8:00:00:01
00:12:79:00:00:01
vlan 4 interface ethernet 0/1
