port-auth port-control [auto | force-authorized | force-unauthorized]
Use the port-auth port-control command to configure the port-authorization state. Use the no form of
this command to return to the default settings.
Syntax Description
auto Enables the port-authentication process.
force-authorized Forces th e port into an authorized state.
force-unauthorized Forces the port into an unauthorized state.
Default Values
By default, all ports are forced to an authorized state.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 1000 and 1000R Series units.

Usage Examples
The following example forces Eth ernet port 0/1 into an unauthorized state:
(config)#interface ethernet 0/1
(config-eth 0/1)#port-auth port-control force unauthorized
