spanning-tree bpduguard [enable | disable]
Use the spanning-tree bpduguard command to block BPDUs from being rece ived on this interface. To
return to the default value, use the no form of this command.
Syntax Description
enable Enables the BPDU block.
disable Disables the BPDU block.
Default Values
By default, this command is set to disable.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000R, 3000, and 4000 Series units.

Release 5.1 Command was introduced.
Release 8.1 ATM sub-interface was added.
Usage Examples
The following example enable s the bpduguard on the interface:
(config)#interface atm 1.1
(config-atm 1.1)#spanning-tree bpduguard enable
