clear port-security
Use the clear port-security command to clear the dynamic or sticky secure media access control (MAC)
addresses associated with an interface. This can be done on a per-address or per-port basis. Variations of
this command include the following:
clear port-security dynamic address <address>
clear port-secu rit y dy n ami c in te rfa ce < interface id>
clear port-security sticky address <address>
clear port-security sticky interface <interface id>
Syntax Description
dynamic Clears the dynamic MAC addres ses.
sticky Clears the sticky secure MAC addresses.
address <address> Clears the information for the specified address.
interface <interface id> Clears the information for the specified interface. Type clear port-security sticky
interface ? or clear port-security dynamic interface ? for a complete list of
applicable interfaces.
Default Values
No default value necessary for this command.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000, and 1000R Series units.
