serial-mode [eia530 | v35 | x21]
Use the serial-mode command to specify the electrical mode for the interface. Use the no form of this
command to return to the default value.
Syntax Description
eia530 Conf igu re s th e inte rf ace for use with the EIA 530 adap te r ca ble (P/N 12 00 8 83 L 1) .
v35 Configures the interface for use with the V.35 adapter cable (P/N 1200873L1).
x21 Configures the interface for use with the X.21 adapter cable (P/N 1200874L1).
Default Values
By default, the serial interface is configu red for a V.35 adapter cable.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 1000R, 3000, and 400 0 Series and Total Access 900 Series units.

Usage Examples
