SNMP Management
Glob al Perform ance Loggi ng
The Glo bal Perfo rman ce Log ging area allows you to start or stop glob al perfo rman ce loggi ng.
Start—Click Start to begin g loba l pe rf orma nc e lo ggin g.
Stop—Click Stop to sto p g loba l p er forma nce l oggin g.

Commission St atus

The Commission Status area displays the result of the last commission, either Succeeded or Failed.

Additional Descriptions Tab

The Addi tional Descript ions tab (Fi gure 4-6 on page 4-11) displays a single Additional Descriptions
area.

Additi onal Descriptions

The Additional Descriptions tab optionally allows you to specify description information for a selected
chassis. An y add itional te xt descript ions can be enter ed in the descript ion 1 and descriptio n 2 data entry
fields. For exampl e, you mig ht wa nt to r ecor d a dd ition al text des cr ipt ions for ide ntificat ion p ur poses ,
such as CLLI codes.

Device Management Tab

The Device Management tab displays two areas: Alarm Synchronization and Write Config to Flash

SNMP Management

The SNMP Management window allows you to select or modify SNMP communit y strings or version s ,
and enable or disable trap generation.
