Chapter 8 Interface Configuration APS Interface Configuration

Viewing the APS Configuration Window

To view the APS Configurat ion wind ow, procee d as follows:
Step 1 Right-click on a selected POS line card or POS interface, then choose Cisco 12 000 /1072 0
Manager>Configuration>POS>APS Configuration. The APS Configuration window appears:

Step 2 Choose a Chassis, Module, and POS Interface from the lists displayed at the left of the window.
The APS Configurati on window allows you to:
•Add a working i nterface
•Remove a work in g in terfa ce
•Add a prot ected interface
•Remove a protected interface
Note A working and a prot ecte d interface canno t be configured at the same time.
