Applying a CAR Policy to an Interface

To apply a CAR policy to an interface, proceed as follows:
Step 1 Choose Cisco 12000/10720 Manager>Configuration>Interface>QoS>CAR Policy Apply from a
relevant obj ect i con ( i n th e Map Viewer window or f rom an obj ec t pi ck l ist ) t o la un ch the CAR Pol icy
Apply win dow. See Table 11-1 on pa ge 11-2 for informat ion on whic h object s allow you to launch the
CAR Policy Apply window.

Step 2 Choose a Chassis, Module, and IP Interface you wa nt to appl y the C AR poli cy to are se lec ted in the
list boxes at the left of th e window. You can choose multiple chassis, modules, or interfaces if required.
Step 3 Choose the policy you want to apply (in the A vailable Policies listbox), and choose the right facing arrow
to move that policy into the Required Order box.
