Interface VRF Association Tab

The In terface VRF A ssoc iation t ab (see Figure 16-13) displays two areas, Inte rface VRF Assoc iation
and Associa tion Status.

Interf ace VRF Associat ion

The Interface VRF Association area displays the following information:
VRF Interface/Sub-InterfaceDisplays only those interfaces that are enabled for MPLS/BGP VPN. The
interfaces/sub-interfaces are listed alphabetically.

Association Status

The Association Status area displays the following information:
Label E dge Ty peEither the providerEdge (PE) or customerEdge (CE).
Storage TypeDisplays the storage type for this entry.
VPN ClassificationLink participation: carrier-of-carrier or enterprise or as inter provider.
Route Distribution ProtocolDisplays the r oute dist ribution pr otoc ol ac ross t he PE -C E lin k.
Associated VRFDisplays the name of the VRF associated with the selected interface.
Interfa ce S ta tus Displays the operational status of the selected interface.

VPN Status

Viewing the VPN Status Window

To view the VPN Status w indow, procee d as follows:
Step 1 Right click on a chassis object and choose F ault>MPLS>VPN Status. See Table 16-1 on page 16-2 for
inform ation on whi ch o bj ects all ow you to l aunc h the V PN Sta tus w ind ow. The VPN Sta tus wi nd ow
appears, with the General tab displayed.
