ATM Interface Configuration Profile Window—Detailed Description
The ATM Interface Configuration Profile window displays two tabs: Configuration (1) and
Configuration (2) .

ATM Configuration
The ATM Configur ation are a displays th e following attr ibutes:
Interfa ce Type —No t applicable for Cisco 1200 0/10720 Ro uter Manag er.
ATM Interface Side—N ot appli cable for Ci sco 12000/ 10720 Rou ter Manag er.
SVC UPC Inte nt—Not applica ble for Cisco 12000/1072 0 Router Ma nager.
Neighbor Add ress Type—IP address of the neighbor system connected to the far end of this interface.
Not appl icab l e for C isco 120 00/1 0720 Rout er M ana ger.
Neighbor Interface Name—Name of the connec ted interface o n the nei ghbor system at the far en d of this
interface. Not applicabl e for Cisco 1200 0/107 20 Router Man ager.
Loopback—Allows you to choose the loopback mode. The following options are available:
Line—Packets are transmitted back to the source to test the interface functionality and ensure that
packets transmitted throu gh the interface reach the destination without data loss.
No Loopback—Restricts conne ction stat us (success or failure) mess ages from be ing rece ived .
Diagnostic —Tran smit data stream is looped to the transmit direction.
Maximum VPCs—Not applica ble for Cisco 12000/1 0720 Route r Manager.
Maximum VCCs—The max imum n umb er o f V CC s ( PVC s and SV Cs) sup por ted a t thi s int erfa ce .
Number of VCs per VP—Allows you to set the numbe r of virtu al chan nels per virt ual path .
UNI Type—Not appli cable for Cisc o 12000/107 20 Rout er Manag er.
UNI Sign alli ng Ver sion—Version of UNI signalling that is currently bein g used on the interface. The
approp r iate value, eith er atm f Uni 3Dot0 , atm fUni3 Do t1 , or atm fUn i4Do t0 , is used when the i nte rface is
an UNI or IISP interfac e. Th e value “not applicable” is used when the in terface is a PNNI interface or
when signalling is disabled. Setting this variable to a value of not applicable is not allowed. To modify
this field, the interface admin status has to be down and the interface Ilmi auto con fig uration disabled.
Signalling A dmi n Stat us—Enables or disables signalling/sscop on this interface. The disabled action
causes all the active SVCs on this interface to be cleared. Not applicable for Cisco 12000/10720 Router
Manager.
