SONET Performance Window—Detailed Description
The SONE T Perform ance window displays four t abs: Sect ion, Line , Path, and Virtual Tributary (no t
applica ble to Cisc o 1 2000/ 107 20 Rou t er M an ager ).
Section Tab
The Section tab (see Figure 10-8 on page 10-11) displays a single Section area containing the following
fields:
Errored Seconds—Total number of errored seconds encountered by the SONET interface in the current
15 minute interval.
Severely Error ed Seconds —Number of severely errored seconds encountered by the SONET interface
in the current 15 minute interval.
Severely Errored Framing Seconds—Numb er of severely er rored framing s econds enco untere d by the
SONET interface in the current 15 minute interval.
Codi ng Vio lati ons—Number of coding violations encountered by the SONET interface in the current 15
minute interval.
Line Tab
The Line tab (se e Figure 10 -9 on page 1 0-12) displ ays two areas : Line and Far End Line , as foll ows:

The Line area displays the following fields:
Errore d Sec ond s—Total num ber o f er rored sec ond s enc oun tered by the SON ET li ne.

Unavailable Seconds—Total number of unavailable seconds encountered by the SONET line.
