Octets Out
Low Priority Unicast—Displays the nu mbe r of low prior ity un ica st oc te ts go ing to the hi gher l ayer.
High Priority Unicast—Displays the num ber of high pr iority uni cast oct ets going to the hi gher layer.
Low Priority Multicast—Displays the number of low priority multicast octets going to the higher layer.
High Prio rity Mu lticast—Disp lays the number of hig h priority multicast oct ets going t o the highe r layer.

The Error s tab displa ys two areas: Ring and Host
Ring
Received TTL Expiry Packets—Displays the number of disc arded pac kets received from the phys ical
layer, due to TTL expiry
Recei v e d Aborte d P ack ets—Displays the number of packets aborted from the physical layer by an abort
sequence c ode.
Rece ived Gi an t Pack ets —Di splays t h e num be r of gi ant p ackets r ece ived from t he p hysi cal l aye r.
Note A giant packet is larger than t he maxim um size pa cket, whic h is 9216 octe ts
Received Short Packets—Displays the nu mber of sh ort pa ckets rece ived from t he physi cal l ayer.
Note A short packet is 16 octets or less
CRC Error Packets—Disp lays the nu mb er of packets w ith CRC er rors.
Host
Received Discarded Packets—Displays the number of packets that are not delivered to a higher layer due
to lack of resources.
Received Giant Packets—Displays the number of packets discarded due to packet size being too big for
the higher layer.
Received Short Packets—Displays t he nu mb er of p ac kets dis card ed due t o pac ket siz e be ing too sma ll
for the hi gher lay er.
