Chapter 16 MPLS VRF Management VRF Fault Management
General
The General area displays the following information:
VRF DescriptionThe description of this VRF.
Oper StatusDenotes whether a VRF is operational or not. A VRF is up when at least one interface
associated with the VRF, which interface operation status is up. A VRF is down when:
There doe s not exist at lea st one in terface whose interfa ce opera tion status is up.
There are no interfaces associated with the VRF.
Route DistinguisherDisplays the rout e distinguisher for this VRF.
No. of Ac tiv e Interf acesThe number of VRFs which are active on this node. Total number of interfaces
connected to this VRF with interface operation statu s = u p.
No. of Assoc iated Interface sTotal numbe r of interfac es conn ected to this VRF (ind epen dent of
interface operation status type).
No. of Max Rou tes Denotes maximum number of routes which the device will allow all VRFs jointly
to hold. If this value is set to 0, this indicates that the device is unable to determine the absolute
maximum. In this case, the configured maximum may not actually be allowed by the device.
Mid Route ThresholdDis plays mid-level water marker for the number of routes which this VRF may
hold.
High Rout e Thres holdDisplays high-level w ater marker for the number of routes which this VRF may
hold.
Creatio n TimeDisplays the tim e at which this VRF entry was created.
Config Last ChangedThe value of sysUpTime at the time of the last change of this table entry, which
includ es change s of VRF paramete rs def ined in thi s table or addi tion or del etion of interf aces asso ciated
with this VRF.
Storage TypeDisp lays the storage type for this entry.
