BGP Redistribute Configuration—Detailed Description
The BG P R edistr ibute Configur ation w indow displa ys the fo l lowing:
Loca l A S—The Autonomous System number in the router.
Protocol—Specifies the protocol to be redistributed into BGP. Valid Protocol Names that can be
redistri buted are c onn ecte d, static , osp f, i sis , i grp , ei gr p, egp, rip , mob ile, od r, dvmrp.
Source ID —Indicates the Process ID of the redistributed protocol. A Positive Integer will indicate th e
process id of the redist ributed protocol; a charac ter string will indic ate the ISO routin g area tag. In case
of prot ocol s like CO NNEC TED an d STATIC thi s attr ibute ca nnot be con figured.
IS-IS Routing Level—Specifies the routing lev e l of ISIS Protocol. The values for this field are: level-1,
level-2 or level-1-2 when protocol is IS-IS.
Redistribution Metric—Specifies the metric used for redistributed routes.
Action
Add Redistribute Entry—Clicking on t he Add Redistrib u te act ion b utto n adds the redistr ib ution en try to
the device.
Remove Redistribute Entry—Clicking on the Remove R edistribu te Entry action button removes the
redistri bution entry fr om the device.
