Start Performance Logging
Note You can select mu ltiple VLANs (from the VLAN object selec tor list) whi ch allows you to star t
perform ance lo gging on al l t he se le cted V L ANs simu ltane ous ly. You can c hoo se mu lti ple VL ANs in a
list by hol ding down th e Shift k ey and the n selec tin g the first a nd last VL AN in the list. You can choose
multiple ind ividual V LANs by hol ding d own the Ctrl key a nd c licki ng on t he i n dividual VL ANs.
To sta rt perfo rm an ce lo ggi ng, pro ce ed a s fol lows:
Step 1 Open the VLA N Configuration w indow. See “Viewing the VLAN Configuration Window” section on
page 13-1 4 for fu rther de tails.
Step 2 Choose a Domain and VLAN from the list boxes displayed at the left of the window.
Step 3 Choose Start to start performance polling on the VLAN. An Action Report window appears co nfi r m ing
that the state of the VLAN object was successfully changed.
Note Ther e is no performance data gather ed on the VLANs but all the su b-interface s (in the Normal
state) under the VLAN move to the performance logging state and the performance data is
gather ed for th e sub-int erfaces .
