Configuring a POS Interface
To configure a POS Interface, follow these steps:
Step 1 Open the POS Interf ace Configuration wi ndow . See “V iewing the POS Interface Configuration Window”
section on page 8-15 for fu rthe r details .
Step 2 Choose a Chassis, Module, and POS Interface from the lists displayed at the left of the window.
Step 3 Choose Edit > Apply Profile and the n cho ose the p rofile yo u wi sh to ap ply f rom th e l ist displa yed (i f
you are applying a profile). When a profile is applied, the attributes applied from the profile appear in
blue.
Step 4 Configure the pa rame ter s disp layed i n th e PO S Co nfig tab, as r eq uired. Se e “P OS Inte rface
Configuration Window—Detailed Description” section on page 8-17 for further detail s.
Step 5 Click Save to save your configuration chan ges.
Step 6 Choose File > Close to close the window.
