BGP Details Tab—Detailed Description
The BGP-Details tab displays two areas: BGP General and BGP Information
BGP General
Local Autonomous System—T he id of the BGP process r unnin g in the device. If the value is 0 it means
no BGP p roce ss is runni ng on t he d evice.
Actions
Enable—The Enable action button is active when there is no BGP running on the device. Clicking Enable
action button ope ns the BGP Enable window through which th e user can cre ate a new BGP process in
the device. For more details on e na bling BGP on a ch as s is , see “Enab ling BGP on a Chassis ” section on
page 5.
Disable—The Disable action button is active when there is a BGP process running in the device.
Clicking Disa ble action button removes the BGP process runni ng in the device. For more details on
disabling BG P, see “Disablin g BGP on a Chassis” section on pa ge 8.
