Chapter 7 Interface Profiles Creating a SRP Side Profile
Step 5 Click OK. The SRP Side Profile window reappears with the new profile name displayed in the SRP Side
Profile list at left of the window.
Note Each pro file must have a u ni que name. Do not inser t spaces in to a profile name. A
profile with a null value cannot be cr eated . When you choo se a profile name, it is
highly rec omme nde d t o u se a na m ing c onve nti on tha t d escri bes the pr ofile ty pe .
For example, a n SRP Sid e pro file could be nam e d as Side0 1.
Step 6 Modify the parameters in the tab as required. See “SRP Side Profile Window—Detailed Descriptio n”
section fo r further details.
Note Choose the Copy, Copy Page Configurat ion and Paste and Sa ve Configuration
options in the Edit men u to cu t and paste between different pr ofiles. T hi s is u s ef u l
when y ou wish to copy configu ratio n in for mat ion fro m one p rofile to th e next.
Step 7 Choose File > Save to save the paramete rs you have selected for your profile.
Step 8 Choose File > Close to close the window.
Note You have now created a profile for the SRP Side Interface.
Editing an Existing SRP Side Profile
To edi t an existing SR P Si de Pr ofile, pr ocee d as fo llows:
Step 1 Choose the C isco 12000/ 10720 Manage r>Configuration>SRP>Side >Configuration Profile option
from a SRP side interface object to launch the SRP Side Profile window.
Step 2 Choose the SRP Side Profile from th e SRP Side Profile list displayed at th e left side of the wi ndow.
Step 3 Modify the p aram eters, as re quir ed .
Step 4 Click Save to save the changes.
Deleting an Existing SRP Side Profile
To delete an existing SRP Side Profile, proceed as follows:
Step 1 Choose the SRP Si de Pr ofile you w ish to de lete.
Step 2 Choose Edit > D elete Prof il e . Choose the profile you wish to delete from the list displayed. A Deletion
Prompt windo w appears (see Figure 7-14) for you to confirm that you wish to delete the selected profile.
