Chassis Configuration Window—Detailed Description

Configuration Tab
The Configuration tab (Figure 4-3 on page 4-8) displays five areas: Validation Parameters, Action (not
applica ble to Cisc o 1200 0/ 10720 Rou ter M anag er), Cloc k (n ot app licab l e), Power Supply (no t
applica ble ), A ctio ns, and, Co mm issio n Status.

Validat ion Paramete rs

The Validation Parameters area contains attributes that describe the population characteristics of a
chass is and are used to validate modul e deployment .
Number of Slots—Displays the numbe r of slots in the ch assis for plug-i n module s.
Unavailable Slots—Displays a co mma separ ated list of slot s that mod ules cannot be deployed into .
Max Nu mber o f Sub-Mo dule s p er Sl ot—D efines the maximu m numbe r of sub-mo dules that can be
deploy ed into each slot for the selected chassis.
