Chapter 9 Interface Status

SRP Inter f ace S ta tus Windo w—Detailed Description
The SRP Interface Status window displays the Interface tab.
Interface Tab
MAC Address—Displays the nod e MAC address
MA C Passthrough—Displays the status of the MAC Passthrough. If set, the path for the data is av ailable
even if the node is not operational.
Total Nodes On the Ring—Displays t he t ota l n umb er o f nodes on the rin g
Prioirity Threshold—Displays the incoming packet priority limit
IPS Wait To Restore Timer—Displays the time interval (in seconds) for the interface to remain in the
wrap state, after the cause of the wrap is removed.
IPS Lock—Displays the statu s of the IPS lock (The status of the lock can be on or off)
Note In case of a mi sconnection at a node (assuming to be the current node), if both the sides of an i n terface
are inc o rr ectly co nn ec ted th en th e p r oblem is at the curren t n od e . However, if on e s id e of an in te rface is
incorr ectl y connect ed then the prob lem is at th e remo te node co nnecting to the resp ective side of the
interface.
Side A Frame
Wrap Status—Displays t he status of the Side A Wrap. Is set to wrap ped, if Side A wraps.
Misconnection—Displays true, if the Sid e A of th e SRP Interf ace at t he cu rrent node i s connec ted to th e
Side A o f the In terfa ce a t the remot e h ost .
Optical Status—Displays the optical status of the Side A Wrap. Applicable only for Cisco 10720 chassis
Side B Frame
Wrap Status—Displays the statu s o f th e Si de B Wrap. I s set to wrappe d, if Side B w raps.
Misconnection—Di spla ys tru e, i f Side B of t he In t erface a t th e curr e nt node is co nne ct ed to the Si de B
of the Interface at the remote host.
Optical Sta tus—Displays the optical status of the Side B Wrap. Applicable only for Cisco 10720 chassis
