Interfaces on line cards can support multiple technologies. Performance windows are
technol ogy-spe cific. For exampl e, a POS int erfac e su ppor ts t wo tec hnol ogie s: G ene ric and SONE T.
Theref ore, to view the performa nce of a POS inte rface, you need to view two windows: the Gene ric
Interfa ce Perf ormanc e wind ow, and the SONE T Interfa ce Perf orma nce win dow.
This same process is applicable to all different types of interfaces: POS, DS-3, ATM, SRP or Ethernet.
