System Configuration
To configure the fields within the Configuration tab, proceed as follows:
Step 1 Open the Mana geme nt Inf orm atio n w ind ow. See “Viewing th e Manage ment Inf ormat ion Window”
section on page 4-3 fo r further details.
Step 2 Choose a chassis from the list box displayed at the left of the window.
Step 3 Configure the fields in the Configuration tab. For detailed information on the fields in this tab, see
“Mana geme nt I nf orm ation Window—Detailed Description” section on page 4 -6.
Note If the operat or enter s an invalid IP address, fo r example, a different device (not a Cisco 12000
Series Router or a diff er en t variant to that cu rr en tly de ployed) then the cha ssi s object will ent er
the mismatched state and a critical alarm will be raised. Modules and interfaces are moved into
the mism atche d state . Th ese s hould be ig nored . To recover, the cha ssis sh ould be
decommissioned, the correct IP address entered, saved and the chassis commissioned again.
Step 4 Click Save to save your changes .
