UDP Status

UDP Status

UDP is a connectionless, unacknowledged, and unreliable protocol that is defined at the Transport layer
of the OSI reference model. Although UDP is responsible for transmitting messages, no software
checki ng for segment delivery is provided at thi s layer. UDP depends on upper-laye r protoc ols for
verification.

show ip traffic
show ip sockets

Viewing the UDP Status Window

To view the UDP Status w indow for a ch assis, pr ocee d as fol lows:
Step 1 Right clic k on the chas sis objec t and select the Cisco 1200 0/107 20 Mana ge r>Fault>UDP St atus
option. See Table 4-1 on page 4-2 for information on which objects allow you to launch the UDP Status
window.
