Chapter 5 Managi ng Modules Module Inventory
Step 2 Choose a Chassis and Module from the list boxes at the left of the window. The inventory information
for the selected module appears.

Module Inventory Window—Detailed Description
The Modul e Inventory window has two tabs : Genera l and Asset Tracking. On ly the Gene ral tab is
applica ble to Cisc o 1 2000/ 107 20 Rou t er M anag er. The Asse t Tracking tab is n ot a ppli cab le to C isco
12000/10 720 Rout er M ana ger.
General
The General tab (see Figure 5-5 on page 5-10 ) has four ar eas:
Module Details
The Modul e D e tail s ar ea c on tai ns t he fo llowing field s:
Serial Number—Displays the serial number of the selected module. This number is zero if data is
unavailable.
Description—Displays a description of the selected module.
Type—Displays the type of the selected module.
System Deta ils
The Sy stem De tail s area cont ains th e foll owing fields:
Host Name—Displays the host name of the system which contains the selected module.
Boot Im age H ost—Displays the IP address of the host, which supplies the software currently running.
Description—Displays the h ardware typ e, so ft ware op er ating syst em, and ne tworki ng software of th e
syste m th at cont ain s the s elect ed mod ule.
RO M I D—Displays the system boot strap description and version identifier.
Domain Name—Displa ys th e doma in po rti on of t he d oma in name for t he sy stem whi ch c on tains the
selected module.
Services—Displays all the services available on the system.
Version Det ail s
The Version Details area contains the following fields:
IOS—Di splay s the IOS o per ating so ftware version be ing used by t he selec ted m odule .
Hardware—Displays the version of the selected module.
Firmware—Not app licable to Ci sco 12000 /10720 Route r Manage r.
Software—Displays the software version installed in the card. No information appears if data is not
available.
