Chapter 12 Managing ATM Connecti ons Managing ATM QoS Profiles
To edit an existing ATM QoS Profile, proceed as fo llows:
Step 1 Right-click on an interface, then choose Cisco 12000 /10720 Manag er>Configuration>Interfa ce>
QoS> ATM QoS Profile Configuration. See Table 12-6 on page 12-18 for information on the objects
that allow you to launch the ATM QoS Profiles window.
Step 2 Choose the prof il e you wish to edit from the list o f exi sting prof il es displayed in th e list at the left of the
window.
Step 3 Edit the fields displa yed in the tabs, as require d.
Step 4 Choose Save from the File menu to save the change s made to the pr ofile.
Step 5 Choose Close from the File menu to close t he window.

Deleting an ATM QoS Profile

Note An existing ATM QoS profile can only be deleted if it is not currently applied to any interfaces. Once
you h ave applied a Q oS pro file to a conn ec tion, y ou cann ot edi t o r d elet e i t un less you rem ove it from
the connection. If that QoS profile is being used by any other connections, you will still not be able to
edit or del ete the QoS profile. If you want to view the connect ions that are using a specific profile, ru n
a Cisco EMF query against the profile name (refer to the Cisco E leme nt Managem ent Framework User
Guide for det ai ls). Once you have removed a QoS profile from all conn ections, you can proceed to edit
the attributes within the QoS Configuration window or delete the selected QoS profile.
To delete an existing ATM QoS profile, follow these steps:
Step 1 Right-click on an interface, then choose Cisco 12000 /10720 Manag er>Configuration>Interfa ce>
QoS> ATM QoS Profile Configuration. See Table 12-6 on page 12-18 for information on the objects
that allow you to launch the ATM QoS Profiles window.
Step 2 Choose the profile you wish to delete from the list of existing profiles displayed in the QoS Profiles list.
Step 3 Right click on the profile and choose Deployment>Delete Objects. T he Deploy ment W izard - Summary
