Configuration Tab
The Con figura tion tab (se e Figure 4-1 on page 4-4) disp lays a sing le Syst em Co nfigurat ion area.
System Configuration
The System Configuration area displays the following fields:
IP Addre ss—Al lows you to enter the IP ad dress of the syste m.
System Name—Allows you to enter the name of the system.
System Contact—Allows you to enter the name and contact details for the person administering the
node.
System Location—Allows you to specify the physical location of the system.
Extra Location In formati on (optio nal)—Allows you to speci fy addi tional info rmati on descri bing the
location of the system.
IOS/Command Line Security Tab
The IO S/Command Line Security tab ( see Figure 4-2 on page 4-5) disp lays the security deta ils area, IOS
Username and Passwords.
IOS Username and Passwords
The IOS Use rname a nd Passwords area co ntains the following fields:
User Name—Allows you to enter a unique user name which combined with the passwords below
provides additional levels of security for accessing the Cisco 12000/10720 Router.
Login Password—Allows you to set a telne t access password to protect the Cisc o 12000/10 720 Router
from acc ess by unau thoriz ed per sonnel .
Confirm Login Password—Allows you to re-ente r the login passwor d for confirmation .
Ex ec Passwo rd—Allows you to set the access password for the chassis, enabling you to perform specific
operations on the C isco 12000/ 10720 R oute r cha ssis.
Confirm Exec Password—Allows you to r e -enter t he exec password f or confirm ation .
Save Locally—Click Save L oca l l y to save your passwords local ly in Cisco 12000/ 10720 Rou ter
Manager fo r a sele cted ch assis.
Sa ve to Device—Click Save to Device when you wish to reconfigure both the local Cisco 12000/10720
