cnfcasglareattribTo configure the direction of channel associated signaling (CAS) calls and the glare (dual seizure event)
policy for a specified endpoint, use the cnfcasglareattrib command in the VoIP switching/trunking,
switched AAL2 PVC, and AAL2 trunking operating modes.

Usage Guidelines Use this comman d to assist in controlli ng TDM g lare e v e nts. Use the cas-direction argument to allow or
disallow glare events. Use the glare-pol argument value to configure the resolution of glar e events if you
allow them to occur. Resolution of glare events is either to enable VISM to release a call and accept a
call from the PBX, or wait for the PBX to release a call and enable VISM to continue with a call.
endpt-num Endpoint number which is to be configured with CAS call direction and a glar e
policy. It can be a value from one of the following ranges:
•For template number 1:

For VISM, from 1 to 145

For VISM-PR T1, from 1 to 192

For VISM-PR E1, from 1 to 248

For VISM T1, from 1 to 192

For VISM E1, from 1 to 248

cas-direction CAS bits flow direction. It can be one of the following values:
•1 = Incoming and outgoing
•2 = Incoming
•3 = Outgoing
glare-pol Glare condition policy. It can be one of the following values:
•1 = Controlling
•2 = Releasing
Note You can assign a glare-pol argument v alue of 2 only if the cas-direction
argument is assigned a value of 1.
